The breathtaking site of Choquequirau is considered the sister site of Machu Picchu. Known as The Cradle of Gold in Quechua, Choquequirau is considered one of the last refuges of Inka resistance before the Spanish conquest. It overlooks the convergence of 3 rivers and many of the ceremonial structures of Choquequirau are associated with water, a testament to the Inka water spirit, Mama Cocha.
To this day, Choquequirau has not been fully excavated or explored, making it a road less travelled and a tranquil place for transformation.

Choquequirau Itinerary
Q'ONYAQ
Day 1 - Ceremonial Temple of Sayhuite
Today we will travel to the ancient site of Sayhuite for an introduction to the Inka Cosmovision, the Inka Spiritual Path. Here we will do QONYAQ the offering ceremony to the Apus, Spirit of the Mountains and opening our pilgrimage journey to the ancient sacred site of Choquequirao.
WILLKA PURIY
Day 2 - 3
Depart the village of Curahuasi to begin our pilgrimage to Choquequirau
It will take us 2 days to reach the ancient site
In this time we will carry out WILLKA PURIY, which means walking sacredly in meditation, where it gives us the opportunity to do an internal exploration and introspection. and we will also perform the rite of Hampi Apacheta
(an ancient way of program a small stone to carry during your walk to heal and release dense energy)
Day 4 - Tsuyantsakuy
Arrive to the Temple of Choquequirau. We will have time to explore the ancient energetic site before we begin the teachings and practice with Antaurko about the rite of Tsuyantsakuy, discharging and releasing the heavy energies of our physical and energetic field.
Day 5 - Samintsakuy
In the morning we will learn and practice about Riquay Tsinkar, the ancient of Inka Meditation to channel the energies offered to us in the temple. This afternoon, we will receive the teachings of Sami, fine energy and make the rite of Samintsakuy, receiving and charging with the energy Sami of PachaMama (the Cosmic Mother)
Day 6 -7 WILLKA PURIY
Return to Cuarahuasi were we will do the way of WILLKA PURIY, which means walking sacredly in meditation to process and digest what we learn and we will perform the rite of Khuya Apachiy
(an ancient way of program and blessing a small stone to take with you for your altar)
also we will do Pachamama Qonyaq offering ceremony of gratitude to our Cosmic Mother.
