- A Llama Caravan Pilgrimage Journey to the Temple -

CHAWPIN or Chavin de Huantar lies in the centre of the Valley of Qon-Tsuko, where two large rivers meet.  The confluence of these rivers is given a special significance in Quechua. Tinkuy means meeting of opposite forces.  Chavin comes from the native language Quechua CHAWPIN which means centre dimension where the natural forces come together in harmony. Chavin is a pre-Inka an energetic site, a spiritual and ceremonial temple where people came in pilgrimage from thousands of years ago, It is the Matrix of the Inka Culture.

Inka Antaurko Patsakamaq.                              guides this unique spiritual journey; a walk into the Qhapak Naani the great path of inner exploration and awareness.  In this journey you will gain insight to the knowledge and practices while living and experiencing the way of life of the Inka Spiritual Path.  The essence of this journey is to activate and  nourish the Inti Muju, our solar seed of consciousness - A path of self- reflection, empowerment, and healing at a physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual level. ​

Llama Nani Itinerary


​Day 1 - HONKU PAMPA
We'll spend the day at Honku Pampa, a sacred, ancient site close to Huaraz, Ancash Peru.  Here you will receive an introduction to the Inka spiritual Path.  we will visit the magical waterfall and make the Tsaqtsapaquy Rite of the Sacred Coca Leaf and receive the teachings of this ancient practise.



Day 2 - Flower Baths at Walkan
Today is pure immersion in the Yaku Mama - Water Spirit.  We will take a day trip to Walkan, a small community in the Valley of Huaylas.  Receive an energetic cleanse while recharging in geothermal medicine waters - a traditional purification bath with colourful flowers and aromatic plants.  In honour of the Yaku Mama, we'll have a traditional Inka water ceremony.

Day 3 - Depart Huaraz
Travel 1 hour from Huaraz to the Pampas Lampas community, Ancash Peru.
Hike 1.5 hours from the Highway to the Wasy Kamaq centre
This day we will light our sacred fire and Inka Antaurko will speak to the significance of this age-old journey of the Llama Nani and the ancient practise of walking to the temples.


Day 4 - Pampas Lampas
Early morning start to meet the Llamas.  You’ll get to know these sacred animals that will accompany you on your journey.  You’ll pack your supplies and load the llamas in preparation for your walk tomorrow.  
At the Sacred fire, you will acknowledge the Spirit of the Mountains in ceremony. . 

Day 5 - Depart Pampas Lampas
Early morning exit of the llama caravan en route to Chavin de Huantar.  


Day 6 - 9 - Journeying
These days are spent leading the caravan through a journey in the mountains - opening perceptions and connections within ourselves and everything around us.  Live the experience that flows in places of tranquility.  Experience the teachings and realizations that come every moment of every day.

Day 10- Chavin de Huantar
Arrive to the community of Chavin de Huantar.  Take a relaxation bath in the hot springs or waterfall.  Today we rest and visit the community.


Day 11 - 12 Temple
Enter the Temple of Chavin.  Here we will have time to meditate and channel the energy of the site.  Learn the meanings of the ancient  symbols and codes carved in the temple stones and a night Ceremony

Day 13 - Depart Chavin de Huantar
Pack out the camp, load up the llamas and set off in return to the Pampas Lampas community.  Before departing, we will have the Yaku Mama or Sacred Water Ceremony.

Day 14 - 17 - Journeying
These days are spent leading the caravan through a journey in the mountains - opening perceptions and connections within ourselves and everything around us.  Live the experience that flows in places of tranquility.  Experience the teachings and realizations that come every moment of every day.

Day 18 - Pampas Lampas
Arrive to the Pampas Lampas community.  We'll gather at the sacred fire to make ceremony and an offering to the Pacha Mama.  We will have an opportunity to share about our experiences and revelations during our journey  Llama Nani.

*Please note that this journey will only run with a minimum of two people.   

 13 days of the all journey include simple meals and tent rentals. 
Guest is responsible for all hotels, transportation and meals while in Huaraz, Chavin, and Peru.
